Come and visit the fromer Menier chocolate factory which was built in Noisiel on the banks of the Marne over 90 years ago. Restored by Nestlé to become home to its head office, the company welcomes you for an exclusive guided tour based on chocolate and the world of its brands.
Usually closed to the public, you will discover how this industrial site, which only shut down in 1991, was brilliantly refurbished five years later to become the French head office of Nestlé, the world-famous group.
During your tour, your guide will explain the techniques used to make chocolate and you will look back over the history of Nestlé, its great men and its advertising sagas.
Discover a unique architectural heritage, witness to the former activity of the chocolate factory: the Saulnier mill and its colourful façade dating from the 19th century, the cooler room and its metal structure, the cathedral and its size, which is extraordinary for the era… All these buildings are listed as historic monuments.
An entertaining, historical tour in a lush green setting which will delight visitors of all ages!
Please note: the tour does not include a chocolate tasting. The Noisiel site being the Nestlé head office, no chocolate is made on-site.
