Come and visit the Gravelines power plant!
During your tour you will be plunged into the heart of the electricity generating trade.
To welcome you under the best possible conditions, we offer tours lasting 3 hours to have enough time to answer your questions and for the practical arrangements to access the site. When you come you will be given a talk followed by a tour of the industrial facilities.
Themed talks: You will find answers to all your questions during a talk lasting approximately 45 minutes covering the various subjects relating to electricity generation. How does a nuclear power plant work? What is the energy mix? What is radioactivity? What are the activities of the EDF group? etc.
The tour of the facilities takes place in several stages: You pass the reactor building and the transformer. We take you to the machines room where the turbo-alternator unit is housed. Finally you will see the fuel channels.
Tours and conferences are free.
Tours of the facilities are by prior booking only and are reserved for groups of a maximum of 24 people. For practical information on how to book, please contact us.
We would be delighted to welcome you to the new fun, interactive exhibition set up in our Public Information Centre, open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.
